PROACTIVE COACHING

TWO COACHES.
ONE WAY OF SEEING THE GAME.

Technique allows you to produce the shot. Tactics give it purpose. Movement makes execution possible; the mental side shapes attention, confidence and reactions under pressure. These four areas may be studied separately, but during a point they constantly influence one another.

PROACTIVE coaching means recognising those connections. Awareness is not a fifth area of tennis. It helps coach and player notice what is actually happening, distinguish facts from assumptions and understand which change is worth pursuing.

We question, experiment and build understanding in training, knowing that recognising a problem is not yet the same as being able to solve it. Then we give the player room to act: less thinking during the point, more independence over time.

THE COACHES

Edoardo Pozzi — tennis coach at Tennis Corralejo, Corralejo, Fuerteventura

EDOARDO POZZI

TENNIS COACH & PARTNER

FITP (Italian Tennis and Padel Federation) — IS2

PTR Adult Tennis Coach

Licensed Tennis Instructor — Canary Islands Tennis Federation

Edoardo combines his background as a competitive player with the technical knowledge and experience developed through his coaching career.

His work begins by identifying what is actually limiting each player’s game, distinguishing what needs correction from what should be preserved and developed.

Rather than imposing a standard technical model, he builds training priorities around the player’s individual characteristics, strengths and ambitions.

He values clear communication, purposeful practice and the gradual development of players who can make their own choices, adapt to different situations and take what they learn into competition.

Francesco De Lorenzo — tennis coach at Tennis Corralejo, Corralejo, Fuerteventura

FRANCESCO DE LORENZO

TENNIS COACH & PARTNER

Former B3-ranked competitive player — Italy

Francesco brings extensive high-level competitive experience and a deep understanding of the demands of match play.

His background gives him a particularly valuable perspective on timing, intensity, tactical adaptation and the ability to execute when the score matters.

On court, he translates that experience into practical feedback, demanding exchanges and realistic competitive situations.

His contribution helps players bridge the gap between what they can produce in training and what they can actually deliver against an opponent.

OUR MISSION

DIFFERENT LEVELS.
DIFFERENT NEEDS.
ONE VISION.

Your level is a starting point, not a label.

Every player brings different strengths, limitations and ambitions. Our priorities reflect those differences, while our approach remains the same.

01 — STARTING OUT

PLAY FROM THE START. BUILD THE FOUNDATIONS.

We get beginners rallying early, so tennis feels like a game from day one.

Alongside the pleasure of keeping the ball in play, we develop essential technique, basic footwork, court positioning and simple tactical choices.

We introduce how points are constructed, the fundamentals of competition and the first mental habits needed to stay focused and respond to mistakes.

02 — INTERMEDIATE

FIND YOUR GAME. MAKE IT YOURS.

At this stage, progress means developing a recognisable playing identity, not simply improving individual strokes.

We address technical weaknesses, tactical habits, movement and physical efficiency, paying particular attention to recurring difficulties and emotional reactions under pressure.

Through practical situations and guided choices, we help players identify the patterns that suit their characteristics, develop confidence in those choices and bring greater consistency into match play.

03 — ADVANCED

REMOVE WHAT HOLDS YOUR GAME BACK.

Advanced players often have the skills to perform at a higher level, but specific limitations prevent them from fully expressing their potential.

We focus on the technical, tactical, physical and mental details that make the difference, always respecting the player’s natural strengths and playing identity.

Particular attention goes to the areas they tend to avoid, neglect or resist developing.

The goal is not to rebuild your game. It is to make more of what you already have.

04 — SEMI-PROFESSIONAL

SHARPEN THE DETAILS. CHALLENGE THE GAME.

For semi-professional players, we provide focused training support, experienced sparring and an informed second perspective.

Our work spans the four interconnected areas of tennis — technical, tactical, physical and mental — with particular attention to high-impact details and the demands of competitive performance.

Beyond training, we offer opportunities for technical discussion, analysis and constructive challenge: testing ideas, refining priorities and examining how preparation translates into match performance.
